Hi! So, I'm planning on attending this fall and will be doing the 16 month track. I put down my deposit a couple of weeks ago and have been completing all the on-boarding requirements since then. I went to the "admitted students" day in early April because I'll be moving from Washington state to attend the program so I wanted to see the campus and facilities in person before making a move like that. A couple thoughts I had... It seems like a really supportive learning environment. All of the faculty came across like they really cared and were willing to help in any way they could to make sure students succeeded in the program. They talked about having a 90% retention rate which was the most important thing for me to hear because the program does cost a lot and this is going to be a big investment for me. They also have a high first time NCLEX pass rate like 96%. What I took away from this is that if you start the program you have a very good chance of finishing it and if you finish you have a very good chance of passing the NCLEX. The simulation lab and school of nursing facilities were up to date and seemed first rate and the campus is very accessible, really pretty and butts up right next to downtown Pittsburgh. There was a panel of students currently in the program that answered questions and took us on a tour of the school of nursing facilities. They all had great things to say about it. Most of them lived off campus. They said that even though it was intense, they felt it was very manageable and still had free time to socialize and have a life outside of the program.

Congratulations! I recently got accepted to the program as well! Yes, that's correct the second page of the offer letter had information about the scholarships. Does anybody have any thoughts on the program or know anybody who's been through it recently? It seems like it has a pretty good reputation from what I've read.

HI, I was recently accepted into the ABSN program at Duquesne and wanted to see if anybody here could provide any insight into the program. It seems like the program is generally well-respected judging from the reviews I've seen online as well as from the forum postings I've seen on this website from a couple years ago.
