I have been a nurse for 14 years and I have never been in any trouble or had any issues with my nursing license. I just got a call from the new job I just got and the HR lady said she was confused about something. She said I ran your nursing license and you are not under any board action at all, but she said she checked the nurse aide registery and that my name is on it. I went to nursing school 11-2009 to 10-2010. She said the incident happened in August 2009. I worked in an automotive plant at that time and I had already told them I would be leaving in November due to starting nursing school. I am just devastated about this. It's a mistake that needs fixed NOW. I need some help here on what to do and how do I get this removed? I have never been notified by nursing board about this either. This is the first I have ever heard about it, was today. I have been working in LONG TERM CARE and no one has said anything to me about this. Why am I just now finding out about this? I need to know how to get this taken off of the registry now!! I have never in my life done anything like this I am so mad right now. Help, plz
