has anyone done the residency program at UW madison specifically AFCH, or have applied and will be starting? I just accepted a position and I am from Texas so I just want to get all the insight from people in the know LOL. also curious on safe places/recs of where to live!

that phone screening was really weird being an automated machine LOL. they said could be 6 weeks before hearing back about interviews, do you think it'll actually be that long? Did anyone else apply to Mclane Childrens? It said on the app only medsurg and critical care but during the actually app it listed nicu PICU pedi med surg and some others.. I was confused on what to choose so I just went w pedi med surg to be safe even tho critical care is my #1.. What did everyone else choose? and does anyone know any inside scoop on how many get hired at mclane usually?

same!! I am starting to lose hope ngl because when it takes this long to hear something its usually because you werent selected (in prev experiences w other hospitals). but maybe choa is diff and just takes longer..?

Applied today at like 2 pm and got a thanks for applying we decided to go with other applicants at 8pm.. I have never gotten a response that quick LOL. I feel like they didn't even look at it ?did they just not like something on my application or has this happened to anyone else?
