Did you eventually get a NICU position? If so congrats. I also got one for Med City Plano, I start in october.

I got an offer from MC Plano on May 14th. I interviewed on the 7th.

I am an internal applicant and it works exactly the same way for us. You can only be in consideration for one job at a time. thankfully I got the NICU job I wanted, but I have to drive 1hr away from home. BUMC already had 10 internal candidates lined up for NICU interviews when I applied so it wasnt an option for me. Just pick the least competitive location if you have the option to. You can easily transfer within the baylor system once you get your foot into the door.

Don't know if I can post this here but this recruiter from medical city has emailed me like 3 times, if you are open to out of state positions it's worth a try. I think they may be more flexible in markets they are not this competitive. Don't know if he knows I am a new grad or not though. Good luck.

I am internal so I don't know if they have started interviews with externals yet. I interviewed 2 weeks ago.

Not a word! Just accepted an offer for NICU @ Baylor so I think I am officially bowing out of this race! All the best to everyone!

I think you are right, and the people who got specialty units had ICU or their preferred unit for their capstone possibly?

I did Acute Surgical on Tuesday! It went well, no hard hitting questions and the managers were really nice.

Do you know much about the acute surgical track, like are there different surgical floors? I am trying to prepare for my interview but I can't find a lot of information on what the role nursing role for this job is.

Perhaps it was just for Mansfield because my Charlton and Dallas applications have had no updates. I received 3 emails on Thursday about applications been forwarded but no specific location was listed.
