So I attended the first info session on March 18 thinking they would discuss details for the August 2025 cohort, but they only talked about a July cohort. I emailed the main speaker, (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS), and she said that the info sessions for the Fall cohort will most likely be around August. I know she mentioned that the Kaiser website hasn't been updated but I'm assuming that there is a different start date now for the fall. Does anyone know about this? I really wanted to get into the August cohort ?

Hello! I recently graduated nursing school this month with a BSN and am looking to taking the NCLEX within the next couple of weeks. I would really love to start in a new grad program. However, I have a trip to take my grandpas ashes back to the Philippines in July. This has been planned for years in advance and I do not want to miss it. I know many new grad programs only accept applicants within 6 months to a year from graduating and that they're extremely strict with the schedule. So, I haven't applied knowing that asking for time off wouldn't be feasible. Is 6 months too late to start a new grad program? Do you have any advice for someone in my position? Thanks!!
