"Somewhat likely" waitlist ?

I'm feeling very anxious about how my interview went yesterday. I'm afraid I didn't answer questions as eloquently or with as much depth as I could have. The next couple weeks are going to be so hard! From what they said at the Q&A, there will likely only be about 8 spots for ABSN to FNP at the Portland campus. I *think* I'm a strong candidate, not only academically but in my diverse life experiences and unique upbringing, but I'm really worried that the interview did not do me any favors. Too many feeling right now, LOL.

Wow, awesome news! Congratulations!! Keep me posted on aid options they give you. I interviewed today. I *think* it went well but who knows anymore?! I'm not the greatest at interviewing so I always think it went badly.

I was invited to interview! My live virtual interview coming up on Friday. I completed the Kira assessment last night. Crossing my fingers!! Hope you got some good news too?

Great news! I was also invited last week as a part of my ABSN to DNP application, and received another notice too for just the ABSN program. I completed the Kira interview last night as mine was due today. I have my DNP live interview on Friday!! Good luck to you and everyone else who has been invited!

So there was an early admission deadline for the ABSN to DNP after all?! Hrmph!! I thought I had seen that at some point early on when gathering materials for my application, but when I was finalizing and submitting my ABSN (only) application back in October I could not find it again. I was mostly ready to submit, but still needed to write my main essay. Once I saw there was no early consideration deadline (or so I thought), I gave myself grace to get it done later. Have you heard anything back yet? Best of luck!

Reading threads from prior years, it seems like there may be some internal funding offered by OHSU depending on availability. Crossing my fingers that is happening again this year. Edit: Just looked for the posts again. It's called the hospital fund. I don't think you have to apply. They offer if they can.

I did get the mock interview notice and signed up to participate. I've started doing practice video recordings to get myself more comfortable with the format. I prefer in person so much more! I thought we might start hearing this week for interviews starting next.
