Hey @Breadrn, I just received an offer for the upcoming residency program on 5 Tower! Can you tell me what unit that is? Also, what are the weekend requirements- every other weekend or a specific number of weekend days per schedule period? Thanks

Yea, I sent a couple of emails and never got a response. I finally got a hold of (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) yesterday, and after our call, she sent the offer letter.

That's great, I've been out of the country and won't be back until next week, just wanted to make sure I didn't miss an email.

Congrats! I got the call too!

Mostly likely not. I think being a LVN hurt my application too. It's a bummer but on a positive note I went to a walk in interview with Prime Health and they offered me a position with higher pay due to my LVN experience which I'm happy about.

OK that's so annoying. I'm wondering too if you did clinicals there. I had an interview with St. B's ICU and he told me they don't like hiring LVNs because they think they know everything. So disappointing since it was on my resume. Why waste my time? I never thought it was this competitive out here.

My friend got hired and went today to sign for her background check. She said the program starts March 10 for med surg. She also talked to some of the other people that got hired and the majority were new grads that did clinicals there or were student nurses.

I got a call from the ICU and have an interview tomorrow. Fingers crossed
