  1. Hi! I was wondering if I could exchange contact info with someone who will be attending the orientation on may 14th? I will be out of town, I am going to schedule a time to meet with the department but I'd love to have first hand details of any info given at the orientation, thanks!
  2. That was my thought process as well. I like being able to ask questions in the moment. I'll see you in Traditional ? I hope to stay working full time also.
  3. I was accepted to traditional which was my first choice, I got a 93 on the TEAS as well and I believe my GPA was a 4.12. Check all your spam and everything! Also if you log into your my Bristol account, then click degreeworks, it will show there if you were switched from general studies to nursing. I put a screenshot of what mine looks like below. Manifesting good news for you ??
  4. Yea mine came through my personal email, not my Bristol email!
  5. Just got my letter 10 minutes ago via email! I'm in!! Good luck!!
  6. How did it go? I wasn't able to attend. Did they discuss graduation dates? Or other new info?
  7. Good to know! Did you get the email about them adding a part time program? There is an info session tonight I think I will attend to get more info. Priority applicants have the option to switch their preference by feb 14th
  8. Do you know if we get any sort of notification that our application has been "received"? I keep getting hit with a wave of anxiety that something is missing from my application and I have no way to know. Manifesting good news for both of us!
  9. I applied for 2025, That was my concern as well about the free college, which is why I switched from the RIC BSN program to BCC, so I can absolutely let you know how it goes. I looked into Massasoit, Mass Bay, and Quinsigamond as well and they are all seemingly easier to get into than BCC. I might still apply to QCC and MCC as backups. QCC is similar requirements but a later date, MCC does a points system so you can have a 90 TEAS score but be missing prerequisites and still get in. if you do stay at BCC, for AP1 look for Katie Ruggieri, it was very simple and even though not intended, felt more like a crash course than a complete redo. Kelemu Woldegiorgis was great for Chem in my opinion, a lot of other students complained because there was a language barrier, but all his stuff is essentially open book, and as long as you appear engaged in labs and participate and show up it's an easy grade. He also appreciates when people stay behind to clean up, though it's not required or graded haha. if you haven't done your TEAS I can also send you some resources I used as well! I have heard ~whispers~ with the free college BCC may do a second start date cohort in the coming years but who knows how true that is. Definitely don't feel burdened by how difficult it is to get in, the timing worked out for me but it wasn't without a ton of stress and anxiety, and I think while BCC produces great nurses and has great NCLEX pass rates, I really do think if you are a good person and have that instinctual pull to help others, you will be successful and help others no matter what program you do.
  10. Hi all, Figured I'd start a thread for 2025 applicants. Just finished up my last prereqs during intersession. Retook MTH and BIO to bump my grades in each from a B+ to an A+ to hopefully make my application as competitive as possible. it's already such a tough program to get into, and I'm wondering if with the free tuition going into effect there will be even more applicants. I originally was going to go straight into my BSN but it made more sense financially to take advantage of the free two year program myself! would love to hear other experiences and how you got here ?
  11. Hi! Did you end up redoing your pre reqs and applying?
