Hello! I also feared the tuition for UCI, however, definitely show off your true motivations in pursuing nursing. The fellowship is offered for students that received an interview offer, of which you have a week deadline to submit the interview and a short 250 word paragraph answering their fellowship question. It was in regards to the nursing profession not accurately reflecting the California population and how you can contribute to the profession. You definitely got this! I remember applying last November, fearing the application process. Show your genuine passion for the nursing profession.

I got accepted around the exact time from as I got accepted yesterday around the same time frame. I got a call around 10:55am. The email was sent at 11:09 a.m., and the portal was updated at 5 p.m. I applied to UCI, UCLA, CSULB, and CSUF. UCI offered me the fellowship and I live in the OC area so I'm considering it much more. I hope this helps in terms of timeframe wise. I also applied the day it was due November 30th, submitted at 6pm ish. I wish y'all the best, I am genuinely so curious how many people applied this cycle. In terms of my interview, I felt super unsure about mine as I felt like I glanced too much on my jotted notes and felt pressure as I haven't done interviews in a while. I definitely feel like my essays were more impactful detailing my experience and work ethic.

There's only one attempt; no re-recording is allowed for any questions. Just one take allows you to view the video once you're done, but if you don't like it, you have to move on since it's only one try.

We're so close! I can't believe we submitted Nov 1st, and somehow I feel more antsy right now compared to previous months!

I also clicked the link and watched the introduction. Someone in this thread had previously mentioned there's a practice interview, I was worried to press next as it said head to interview so I just exited the page to commence another time once I'm ready. Also, by any chance does anyone know how many questions we'll be given and the allotted time we have to answer them?

Congrats to everyone who got an interview and the DEIB fellowship essay invitation. Has anyone completed their interview? I'm planning to complete mine officially this Friday, but I was wondering how I can prepare efficiently. I assume it's a similar format to the CASPER exam, pacing-wise, but I'm worried nonetheless.

I wonder how many students apply and get accepted, considering all nursing programs are incredibly competitive. Their cycle was weird last year, but I assume it was only one cycle this year since we all applied before November 30th.

Has anyone reviewed anything? I'm starting to get a little worried, as previous applicants heard back for interviews from Jan 18 to the end of January. We still have a few more days, just getting nervous ?
