Drug testing
So, I had an initial confirmatory test show positive with super high levels (should have been overdosed if the results were accurate) I did the same test two weeks later that showed negative then I did a nail bed (toe nails because they go back longer) that test also proved negative. Do I have any chance against the board?

That is what I plan on doing. I have called this morning about nail bed test and have been reaching out to different attorneys, currently waiting on a call back. I am hoping if I can prove I was negative before and after the initial test that I can resolve this whole situation. Thank you for your feedback!

Yes I take D-amphetamine salt mix combo and the first MRO officer never asked about my meds, only nasal spray, which I did not use. The second testing, the MRO officer called and had me verify my med list and that was all. That test was considered negative due to my meds.

The first test was confirmed by that. I asked for a second and was denied. I did a second test for a new employer and that test showed methamphetamine on the urinalysis but when sent to a different lab that MRO confirmed by medication list and there was no problem. I've been a nurse for twenty years have never failed a drug screen or had any other issues with nursing. I was thinking if I did a nail bed since it goes back 12 months and it will show negative before the occurrence and then I would have my negative confirmation from the second MRO might help me prove the initial testing was flawed in some way. I'm just stressed and don't know the right way to handle this situation and don't want to lose my license or be on probation, not to mention the fees. Thank you for your feedback!

I have a question if anyone could give me advice. I failed a drug test and the MRO officer confirmed it. It was truly inaccurate. I don't know what happened to make the results be positive but they were. I asked my employment to do a second test or hair follicle and they said no. I have read that nail beds go back one year. If I did a nail bed to prove that the original test was flawed in some way, would that help my current situation, or do I continue my enrollment process with TNPAP and be on probation for three years. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Can anyone tell me if you join TNPAP if you can continue current prescribed medications. I take adderall and anti anxiety medication as needed.
