I'm halfway finished with my LPN program plan. I know Iam being asked to do the med pass in the incorrect chaotic way that does not support anyone's safety

Should a director of nursing be giving step by step directions on which residents to start with and naming other residents in the order in which a cmt is to pass her meds? ex go to the second floor first (give three people out of 25 ) their meds then go downstairs and give 3 people then go back upstairs and pull the rest out / lable the cups and put the meds in and go back downstairs and carry all those to give to residents that are just everywhere ? I would think I'm on the cart and I will conduct my medpass in the way in which I was taught the safe way ,, oh and I'm not to look at the mar as I'm passing them was told to just dump them out the bag and chart when I'm done ??
