Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply—I really appreciate your insight! Just to clarify, Indiana State University actually has a system in place for handling clinical agreements. My role as a student is to find potential facilities and provide their details, but the university steps in from there to establish the necessary agreements. I totally get that clinical sites are super in demand, and I know this process can be tricky. That said, I'm hopeful there are amazing RNs out there who would love to mentor and help shape the next generation of nurses (fingers crossed!). Hi! I am currently in a distance learning LPN to BSN program at Indiana State University. I reside in Houston, Texas and I am having difficulty finding a preceptor. Has to be Med Surg / Acute Care RN Preceptor. Anyone know of an RN in Med Surg at Memorial Hermann or any Acute care setting? Thank you for your help in advance!
