  1. Hey, has anyone else applied for UB's accelerated program starting in May? I haven't seen a thread of the accelerated program for a bit
  2. Hi I'm wondering if anyone on here has any knowledge on how difficult it is to get into the ADN programs at community colleges in Upstate NY? The admission requirements don't seem too hard based on their websites, but since it's in NY I'm assuming they're more competitive than they let on. I'm getting my bachelor's right now and will probably be applying with a GPA of 3.6ish with mostly As and Bs in prereqs but also a C in chemistry. I'm looking into WCC, Dutchess CC, Finger Lakes CC, Genesee CC, MVCC, FMCC, Monroe CC, Tompkins CC, Onondaga CC, SUNY Broome, SUNY Adirondack, HVCC, Suffolk CC, and SUNY Alfred. Has anybody gotten in with stats like mine? Thanks
  3. Hey I'm currently finishing up my bachelor's degree in another field, but I've done all my prerequisites. When I graduate my cumulative GPA is expected to be around a 3.5-3.6 with As and Bs in my prereqs besides my C in chem (can't retake). Does anybody know of any ABSN programs on the east coast (I'm in NY but I know that would be a stretch) that would probably be okay with a C in chemistry or don't have a chemistry requirement? I'm a little open to moving inward from the east coast but I'd prefer to be closer. I'm also considering getting my ADN from a community college but I likely wouldn't be able to get a job in my part of NY, so I'd prefer an ABSN. Thank you!
