I chose the MSN program

Hi! I think the most important parts of the application are essay and letter of recommendation. My stats were fine but not super high (around 3.4 cumulative GPA but all A's in prerequisites), but I had a very strong "why nursing" from the experiences I have had. My letters were from: a professor from undergrad that I had for 1 class and also did research with, and my supervisor from my job at a big hospital. I had experience working with patients so overall I felt like my experiences and essay came together to really show why I wanted to become a nurse.

Hi! I was fortunate enough to be accepted into University of San Francisco's (USF) direct entry MSN program. I submitted applications for Samuel Merritt's ABSN program but I don't hear back until next year. USF starts in January so I need to make a decision on if I will attend USF's 2 year MSN program or take the risk and hope that I get accepted into Samuel Merritt. I prefer Samuel Merritt because I can easily commute there and it's a 1 year program, but I feel like I shouldn't waste the opportunity I have to go to USF. If anyone can share their experiences at either school or give any advice I would really appreciate it. I have been losing sleep going back and forth about it with the pros and cons. Thanks in advance everyone!
