Yup this is true bc if they select all 41 the interviews aren't complete so there's up till the 30th! Nope! I'm from Chicago!

some of my friends got calls yeah, but I haven't even interviewed yet So from what I know you either get a call 17 for the first half of 15-20 students or the 30 for the second half. If there's more spots then they consider ppl that they had on the roaster for first half that they might've waited for second half!

I was accidentally put on the waitlist. They thought I had less than a year of ICU experience I told them I had a year and they opened it before even replying back

nope. im actually from Chicago area and live with my parents. but the location is not an issue for me, I've been to AZ a few times and currently 24 year old living with my parents, moving is very feasible for me at my current timeline in life due to unattached responsibilities etc! hope that provides insight. same I didn't apply to any Illinois schools

I only have around 24 hours or so of shadowing. I've never had charge experience nor preceptor (I precept like a nursing assistant back when I was a nursing student LOL but that was about it and oh an EMS student once). I've only been on 1 committee. You will probably get an interview. You have a very well rounded CV! so nervous thank you! I hope you hear soon

I got an email! How is everyone who got an interview studying?

My last name starts with K, applied the date it opened. I have received an interview. I have 1 year CVICU experience, CCRN, some shadowing hours, 1 committee, minor things like represented my nursing class as top student, taught a small section on an ICU skills day...

yes they did! I almost didn't apply cz I felt I prolly need more time. I was at right about a year and. had just taken my ccrn. they offered it before getting back to my email. what do u. mean hmm you get to select your date if it helps. my last name in K.

I originally messaged admissions why I was waitlisted so that I can work on it. They told me when reviewing my file the program was unclear on whether I had a year. I feel. my resume was pretty clear but not sure.... they told me they will tell the program that I have a year and it's up to them to reconsider me. although I personally emailed the program director myself in case too. a few days later I saw they pulled me off... not sure if it had anything to do with the email because they pulled me off before they read my email or got back to me!

Just a side topic. I got waitlisted. I got both email and status update. Although I reached out asking why I was waitlisted and what I can do. They said they waitlisted me because it wasn't clear that I had a year of experience. It kind of upset me because it was mentioned that was the only reason. I did have a year when I applied. Now over a year. I let them know. Not really sure if that could change my status on whether to get an interview ? bc I was basically waitlisted bc of a miscommunication?
