  1. Just got into McMaster with an entrance scholarship! I'll be attending UofT though!
  2. From what I have heard, other programs still have options for more acute placements. I don't think you are completely limited to primary care settings. As for the format/skills testing, I believe skills testing will take place during some of the residencies though not certain as I haven't started yet! That was my initial thought! 3. Correct! UofT doesn't operate as part of the consortium meaning they can independently do as they please when it comes to curriculum changes, etc. I have also heard (though not 100% sure) that UofT students get first pick for placements in the GTA :)
  4. For those admitted (and plan to accept) their UofT MN-NP invite/offer, I created a facebook group for us to stay connected! See below: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1B1W1RZfMR/?mibextid=wwXIfr *If the link doesn't work, please search "UofT MN-NP Class of 2028" into the Facebook search bar* Liam, RN
  5. Rec'd my official UofT MN-NP (downtown site) acceptance today! Stats: 2 years experience (level 3 ICU), cGPA 4.17/4.3 (roughly 3.94); last two years GPA 4.25/4.33 (roughly 3.97), charge nurse, preceptorships, ++ certs (ACLS, PALS, etc.), NP shadowing, recs from manager, professional practice lead, academics (final year BScN prof)
  6. Combined!! Thanks everyone!!
  7. Guys! I just got an ACORN invite for UofT!! Everyone check their portals!!
  8. Thanks for the update! I'm sorry to hear that but waitlist isn't a rejection! I'm not sure what the odds of getting off the list are for TMU ?
  9. Woohoo! Congrats!!
  10. So far it seems like everyone has had "e-NP" from those I've heard from. That being said, I also initially thought the "e" was because it was remote delivery, LOL I didn't select a preference on my app!
  11. You definitely sound like a strong applicant! I wouldn't sweat it at this point. It is still quite early! I'm surprised no one has received an official acceptance yet. I submitted early (late December). I only applied to UofT and McMaster. I have yet to hear from either!
  12. Mine still says "submitted" and no invite on ACORN!
  13. Do we think more acceptances will go out tomorrow? It seems like there weren't as many people "invited" through ACORN as previous years? Or is that just me?
