  1. hi! they have a Spring and fall cohort I believe. You will find open positions for new grads on their career website by searching 'clinical nurse I' I recommend signing up for notifications so you can always see new positions being posted and applying for all the ones you're interested in with that title. I hear really great things about it because they precept/train you for quite longer than other hospitals. other than that, I'm not really sure about any other details about the program. good luck!
  2. I emailed her but didn't ask about the name/dates next to the app. Sorry about that! if I saw your comment earlier, I would've : / did you interview for any of the positions?
  3. thank you! also, don't give up! we're gonna find a place we're meant to be! ❤️
  4. do you mind sharing the recruiter's email?
  5. I think you're right! thank you!
  6. does anyone else see an update on their apps with a person's name and a future march date like March 16 or 24? anyone know what this means?
  7. hi! do you mind sharing which job is filled? thank you!
  8. don't lose hope! sounds like you still have other apps that are options! I hope you hear good news soon
  9. LOL I hope the remaining 4 change statuses soon! good luck!! I hope so to!!
  10. // All my apps have changed status all at once today to 'HR or Manager Review.' One of them changed to 'not moving forward.' Hopefully this means we will hear updates from them soon.
  11. Yes, any position titled Clinical Nurse 1 is a new grad position. I believe they will put us into a cohort with other new grads after hire. All my apps have changed status all at once today to 'HR or Manager Review.' One of them changed to 'not moving forward.' Hopefully this means we will hear updates from them soon. //
  12. OMG yes you are right! I realized after you apply to one unit the first page auto-fills so I forgot you can upload on that page! thank you for clarifying for everyone else! my status for Surgical step down changed too! hoping we all hear soon! // my status for Surgical step down changed too! hoping we all hear soon!
  13. there is a text box to type in your cover letter and there are text boxes for certifications/licenses but not to upload documents!
  14. congratulations and good luck!! ?
  15. I applied to all the positions as well. All my applications say 'Received Submission' except for the Neuro ICU which says 'HR or Manager Review.' I haven't received any other updates besides that one status change. random ? but did you write a completely different cover letter for each position?
  16. are you on their email list? they've been emailing new grad jobs for March 2025 very sporadically. I think we received it twice and they've all been for pediatric units. they just sent one for PICU. you can email Marina Salazar so she can add you to an email list. [email protected]
  17. thank you! yes, it was very fast haha... I've been hearing from friends that the turnaround has been as quick for them too at other hospitals. I have not received any news from Whittier. Hope you hear back soon!
  18. no, I don't think it has changed for me not yet! it will be next week!
  19. I received a call for an in person interview for PIH Downey - DOU unit. I applied to both Downey and Whittier. I haven't heard anything from Whittier. My status just says 'active' for both so nothing really changed on that end. Hope everyone starts hearing some news soon! Good luck everyone!
  20. Hello! They will post new grad positions the 2nd week of January. they currently have a pediatric oncology/hematology position open for new grads. I believe today or tomorrow is the last day to apply.
  21. the unit I interviewed with said I'd know by beginning of next week since they still have more interviews! you got this everyone! if you have notes, I would ask if they're OK with you having them out to refer to. I asked my panel and they were totally fine with it. I would just use it to quickly glance to jog your memory if they ask a question you have prepared the answer for ? good luck everyone!
