I got out of the mandatory information session for the DEMSN program and one of the faculty advised everyone to review material from the prerequisite courses. Specifically, anatomy, pathophysiology and chemistry before beginning classes because everything that is taught in the DEMSN courses is built on that foundation and they do not review any content from the prerequisites, even if students have not seen the content from those courses in years. Is this true? I am worried because I haven't seen the content for any of those courses in about 5 years.

Hello, Nice to see at least one person created a thread for the DEMSN ? I am applying to the DEMSN for the upcoming cohort staring in January. I was told the program had classes scheduled between 8am to 5pm by someone at the admissions department and that the course load was very intensive. Can anyone who is in the program share their experience? Do y'all have enough free time to engage in non-academic endeavors like self care, research, volunteering, etc.
