  1. Hi everyone! I was a med-surg nurse for 6 months, and left because I don't really like working in hospitals, and 12 hours shifts. I started a new job in home health and hospice and so far so good, I love the schedule, I will be PT, I can take my kids to school and pick them up. I am on my first week of training. Anyways, I had applied to several position as a school nurse, and they never answer back until now, I have a interview next week, I know there is a possibility that I don't get it, but if I do, IDK what would be better, home health and hospice, or school nurse. I want to have more freedom to spend time with my kids, they are in elementary school and middle school. I don't care about the money, I just want to be happy in what I do. I can work with kids and older adults. I don't like bedside. If any of you have experience in home health and hospice and as a school nurse, I would like to know which one you orefer the most, and why. Thank you!
