I think each facility/unit has their own way of handling interviews. In either case my app hasn't been updated since the 2nd ?

Can anyone see the application at the candidate portal? Seems to have disappeared on my end. Guess that means they chose their ppl

Think it's safe to say that if you haven't heard back by Friday I don't think we'll be apart of the first batch of interviews (march 4-7) unfortunately

Yeah mine was updated with that message. It seems like they either are behind with sending emails or, hopefully, have you guys on standby incase people reject offers

Same, the only saving grace is that I hope that people have accepted offers from other units at parkland or other hospitals for us to have at least a shot at talking to someone. Based on what I was told, the OR conducts their own interviews in March but who knows at this point.

Over offer? Sure hope they honor those offers if everyone commits ?

Greetings y'all, just left the q&a and wanted to give a quick rundown on what was shared. first and foremost, applications have been shared and sent to hiring managers and interviews are expected to be held March 4-7 with some units holding multiple rounds. second, it's highly advised to make a personalized cover letter relevant to the floor you are applying to. You can send your cover letter to the talent acquisition team and they'll update your resume. thirdly, if you are an ADN graduate and are currently in a BSN program make sure you mention that. ADNs do get hired but a ratio must be maintained in order for the facility to keep their magnet status fourth, you can apply as a PCT to get your foot in the door and apply to the next residency if you were not interviewed this go around

Don't sweat it to much if you can't catch your lunch during clinical, I'll be sure to update this forum on what was shared at the Q/A

Not entirely sure how they went about sending invites to the Q&A especially since 200 across numerous units and campuses seems kind of light. There's also the fact that people who did receive invites might not have signed up in time
