  1. I got a 90 on the TEAS and a a 3.1 GPA and I never really cared to ask anyone about the scores because if they got in then they were competitive enough for the school. There are a lot of students working full time so I think it's doable if you have a good support system. However we did lose about half of our N1 cohort for various reasons. I'm currently still in school so I have no info on the NCLEX for you
  2. Fundamentals is the first class you will take, it is a lot of work/reading, so prepare to start reading as soon as they give you the list. The semester is broken into 3 components: Lecture, Lab, and Clinical. It's not the most organized imo but honestly I feel like every nursing school is slightly disorganized. Just make sure that you keep up with your work and no one else's. For lab you have a dosage calc exam like 3-4 weeks into the first semester. LMK if you have anymore questions
  3. Hi yall! im currently in the program, please let me know if you have any questions! I would love to help
  4. Heyyyy yall! We are so close to starting the program! I'm so nervous/exciteddddd! just got my scrubs! Still missing the fundamentals textbook though. Spending this month, reviewing A&P. Looking forward to meeting you all!
  5. I just saw it! Thank you! Honestly I really like the schedule, I don't think it's too bad. But them chapters that are due... whewwww thats a lot of damn reading and them books are expensive ??
  6. It's been like 3 weeks and no updates. I want to know my schedule so I know when I can work LOL
  7. Thank you! Congratulations to you all too! I was speaking to admissions earlier this week and they stated more info would be sent soon after they start to finalize the seats with deposits! Look forward to meeting you all!! I have all my appointments set up. Now I get to worry about what shoes, watch and other school supplies I need LOL
  8. I think I'm going to go the Dennis Brooks class cause they are in the Bronx
  9. It's officially the 8th and I'm soooo excited! I sent my financial aid and I waiting to hear back. So much to do with Castle Branch and CPR and all that other good stuff.
  10. I got in! I was originally going to go to Mercy ABSN however the cost was a huge deterrent. I'm happy with going to Monte!! it's a lot of health assessment papers though LOL
  11. Hey y'all! I just discovered this forum/website but I was recently accepted into Mercy University ABSN program for Spring 2025! I am really excited, I paid the $500.00 deposit (definitely hurt my pockets) . Just wanted to know if anyone else got in and if anyone is already in the program, how is your experience?
