  1. Anyone heard back from Psych ICU?
  2. Wanted to update in case someone sees this post. I was able to get my license in California by exam without any issue. Graduated December 2025 and had my license beginning of February. My program did NOT have 18 clinical credits. Was not an issue.
  3. I never got more answers. I'm halfway through my program so I will update early next year. I couldn't wait around any longer, and everyone that I spoke to online seemed to not have issues.
  4. Thank you. I appreciate the help.
  5. I've only head of people being rejected after attending excelsior or schools of that nature. schools in california take years to get into. Why not go out of state for school that teaches the same thing, is accredited nationally, and ranked highly? I'm already accepted vs waiting around for a possibility in California. The school won't put me in touch due to privacy.
  6. No I didn't. There's no information on them and it's impossible to get answers. I've decided to just go for it.
  7. They look pretty similar. I've never really heard of people being rejected from licensure in California except from schools like excelsior so that eases my mind a bit.
  8. Clinical credits is what I mean. I looked at the California schools and from what I could tell all their absn programs do include at least 18 units. the programs I'm looking at are accredited.
  9. Can anyone tell me if these schools absn programs will allow me to be licensed in California? The schools claim yes, but they have less than 18 clinical credits in the curriculum. I'm still not sure if that's mandatory. Please help me out and take a look. Let me know what out of state program you attended. here's are the ones I'm looking at University of Tennessee health science center absn university of Tennessee at Chattanooga absn university of southern Mississippi absn univeristy of Mississippi medical center absn thank you.
  10. Hey, I know this has been posted countless times, but I still don't have an exact answer. I've tried contacting the BON with no luck. I've been accepted to a couple absn programs out of state. They are accredited. They claim they have students come back to California with no issue. However, when looking at the requirements I see that California requires 18 clinical credits. These programs have 15-16. so what's the answer? Does California actually require 18 for out of state schools? Is this program lying to me about people transferring back to California without issue? im just really concerned about paying for these programs and being stuck there. thank you
