  1. Thank you!! They give us 2 weeks from when we get the acceptance letter. Good luck!!
  2. My application still says under review and I sent everything in as well!
  3. They said everyone would find out at the latest thanksgiving. I wouldn't give up yet! I think they tell everyone in batches.
  4. Have you guys reached out to [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME TO COMPLY WITH TERMS OF SERVICE]? She is their administrative assistant and she might be able to help you figure out why you haven't heard back. Her contact info is on their website!
  5. I am not supposed to say what the questions were, but generally you should study the pathophysiology of ICU illnesses/conditions down to a cellular level and the pharmacology of ICU medications down to the cellular level! Also be able to go in depth about patients you have cared for! Since you have a lot of time until you will be interviewing, I would get a journal and write down the conditions your patients have and what meds they are on and deep dive into them! CRNA school prep academy recommends doing that to prep for interviews and I wish I knew about that sooner! It would have made it a lot easier to study! Good luck!! There wasn't one for me! I did mine in person.
  6. I didn't! I did ask on the way out and they said they decided against it this year!
  7. I feel it went well! I showed up an hour before my time. When I walked in, there were two 1st year students waiting to greet us. They answered all of our questions and gave us a tour. Some people went on tours 1:1 and others went in a small group. It just depends on if you show up at the same time as someone else. I got to see the classrooms, sim lab, and library. When it was time for my interview, someone came out and brought me back to the interview room. It was 15-20 minutes and then I left right after.
  8. I took one from MTSA and the other from TESU. Both were online and asynchronous!
  9. I had a 3.2 overall undergrad. 3.4 for science undergrad. I took 2 graduate classes (Pharm and path) and got an A and B. I have had 2 years nursing experience in a MSTICU/BICU at a level 1 trauma center and have cross trained to work PRN in the PICU for the last year. I worked as a PCT in three ICUs during nursing school. Some extra stuff that I think helped... I have done volunteering through the AACN and at church. I've been to 4 CRNA conferences and have talked to the director and students each time. I've had the opportunity to sit in on a class at ODU and have had a meeting with the director to look over my resume and transcripts. I was able to shadow a CRNA for 24 hours. I got my CCRN, CBRN, and CSRN. I took NRP, TNCC, ABLS, and PALS. I have submitted an article to a anesthesia journal. I did some other stuff too but those are the big things! The hospital I work at has so many opportunities, so I take all that I can!
  10. Congrats!! I know in the past they had an option for zoom, but I haven't heard anything about it yet this year.
  11. I have an October 1st date, but I submitted by application the Wednesday before it was due. My application was still pending a reference until that Friday. In my interview invite email, it asked that I come the first week since I live close by (about 2 hours away) to give time for people who live further to make traveling arrangements. I am not sure if they considered me local because of the distance or because I have been there multiple times for a VANA conference, to meet with the director, and to sit in on a class, so they know I can get there easily with shorter notice.
