  1. Thank you for the info. I've been reading and studying everything I can about high risk pregnancies, as well as diagnostic testing in MFM clinics, so I'm familiar w the differences. Also - I had 2 high risk pregnancies myself and saw a Perinatologist. Although I have the foundational knowledge- do you believe it's enough to start working in this clinic or would you recommend I get more acute care experience first? Thank you...
  2. Would appreciate advice from experienced OB/GYN and/or maternal fetal medicine nurses. I have an interview at maternal fetal medicine clinic. I worked as a mommy baby nurse nine years ago for one year. I also was a school nurse for seven years. Do I need to have recent acute care experience to be successful in this clinic role and moreover provide safe, prudent nursing care? I'm passionate about the field, eager to learn, but unsure about training at this stage. Thank you for any responses.
