  1. Thank you so much for your prompt reply Nurse Key, it is very helpful! Your school had already made my shortlist actually. I will follow your recommendations and liaise with the authorities you mentioned in your post. I suppose each case is different! Did the process to get authorization to write the NCLEX-RN take you long? As to the 13 months-course it seems to have been integrated also in the Algonquin College Bridge to BSCN program. There is no indication that the College Certificate can be taken as a stand alone program other than as part of the BSCN bridge course though... Thank you again for your help and your enlightening feedback on your school program as it is not always easy to find for Quebec at least!
  2. Hi Nurse Key, I am about to start my DEP/LPN in Quebec, and I would like to know which school you graduated from as you said it was a very comprehensive theoretical/practical training? You can send me a PM if you like and have a minute to spare. That would be greatly appreciated. I still have 4 months to decide which school to go to. The reason I am asking is my spouse (who is a non-French speaker) is planning to work in Ontario and perhaps in the US. I am am therefore interested in the prospect of going from RPN to a level that could be deemed acceptable by a BON in the US to take the NCLEX-RN in the future. I have tried to find information about the 13 weeks College Certification which I can see mentioned on the Bridge program you are referring to but I cannot any details regarding the content/module breakdown of the course. I have emailed the course coordinator but to no avail. If you or anyone have any info on that too that would be fantastic!
