  1. Hiii! I'm gonna list all the info I wish I had when I applied hahaha. I have a 3.7 prerequisite GPA and a 3.6 cumulative GPA. I have over 1500 clinical hours, 500 research hours, and ~300 volunteer hours. We did not have to take the TEAS for this cohort. My prior degree is in Biomedical Sciences. In an info session the admissions team told us they decided ONLY based on your prereq GPA and interview questions. The interview questions were very similar to what you would look up and find online. I got the acceptance email from them on Feb 13 at 2:00PM PST. If you have any other questions just ask!
  2. I've been anticipating it being around 3PM so people can digest the decisions over the weekend so they don't get flooded with calls.
  3. Oh no! Fingers crossed for you!! If it helps they emailed me on like Jan 5 and said that they're aware of my in progress prerequisite and I am still eligible for the program cause it's TX Government. So maybe no news is good news??
  4. I'm waiting, too! I'm so nervous! I have a 3.7 prereq GPA. The admissions info session said they only go off of prereq GPA and your interview so fingers crossed ???
  5. I was denied as well. My grades and essays are very good. I had one strong LoR and the other was likely more generic. I have prior clinical hours (over 1000) and a fair amount of volunteer hours through a church (~150). Congrats to everyone who got in!
  6. I think it is different! I don't know if we will find out anything until the school sends out emails. NursingCAS won't update to show accepted/denied.
  7. This is refreshing to know as I was looking to talk to someone in the program currently! I had only heard of for profit universities having issues with clinical placements. Thank you for the clarification!
  8. I applied to the Spring 2024 term and saw your reply but when I went to your profile I was confused. Did you go to USFCA? Cause your profile has replies to multiple nursing schools.
  9. I'd also like to add that I applied like 2 days after the nursingCAS application opened and got an email asking for clarification on prereqs, so they are actively looking/on top of it. That's one of the main reasons I want to go to USFCA so badly! The time and effort they poured into me even when I was just getting info on the program really stood out to me. I wish everyone good luck! ❤️
