HCA aventura nurse residency Fall 2024
Just here to support everyone. I had an interview for an hca in vegas. They asked me to tell them about myself, why thet specific hospital, and what my five year goals are. Another hca hospital asked me have I dealt with a difficult patient and how did I handle it, what is sometjing you did wrong at work or in clinical and what did you try to improve in in that situation... hope that helps, hca does very similar questions across the board. My friend was asked very similar questions for hca new grad residencies in california. Im waiting to hear back about my interview. Hate the waiting so im here to support whoever. Good luck!

Why is it so hard to get RN job in Vegas?
Any luck finding a job yet? I'm just a new grad and I'm having difficulty as expected, trying SNFs and rehabs too. Everyone wants experience that you have. So I'm wondering if maybe it's how your resume is worded or if HR is just taking time going through applications. I'm sure you'll get something soon, if you haven't already.

Las Vegas Nurse Residency Fall 2024
This discussion is for Las Vegas, NV. Ya'll know how new grad unfriendly Vegas is ?. Anyone have any luck so far? I applied to all 3 HCA residencies for the October 2024 start dates and applied to UMC, Dignity, and VHS for regular full-time jobs. I applied to smaller facilities too, but I keep getting told I don't have enough experience. Am I the only one? I graduated in May, passed my boards in the same month. It's been nonstop applications everyday since. Anyone know when the residencies for all the other hospitals get posted? Moving out of state isn't an option right now.
