Does anyone know if we take classes during the Summer term. I'm looking at the plan of study and the Summer term isn't included for the RN MSN program.

I am an RN already. I was asking when it is an appropriate time to start applying to jobs since some jobs have week long orientations without interfering with my school schedule. And also does anyone know if we need a Connecticut license. I have a compact license and I'm pretty sure Connecticut is a compact state. But IDK if that will satisfy the clinical requirement.

Just wondering for anyone doing the MSN program do you plan on working during the program and if so when do you plan on applying for jobs

It dosent open till March for nurse corps but for HPSP you just need to contact an officer to get started if you privately message me I can send you the email of someone in the air force to get started. I think you Can apply for HPSP right now. But for nurse corps IDK

Hello, I am very interested in going to PMHNP school. although I am a new grad I have several psych experiences. I have 2.5 years as a pediatric psychiatric tech and 1 year as an advanced nurse tech in a behavioral health hospital. I have also volunteered at orgs such as NAMI, red cross, and free clinics. also, I graduated nursing school this may with a 3.83 GPA. I have been working as a psych RN at the same unit I have been a tech in throughout the Summer, and it has solidified my plans of becoming a PMHNP. Essentially, I am asking if my stats and experience are enough for me to get into schools like yale, UPENN, Colombia and duke for the fall'25 semester.
