Hi, I wanted to jump on here and see what the experiences are with open houses at Northwell. There is one coming up in Bay Shore and wanted to attend. I'm not quite sure if signing up is at the end where you upload your resume and pick which location? Also how is your experience with that and it says qualified individuals are allowed at the first come first serve basis so not quite sure what that meant also if I submitted I wanted to go to this event?

Ah no I just wanted to reach out to a recruiter to see if there's anything they're able to help me with like an update on my application status and all of that. Has anyone been to any of the clinical job fairs? Can you just show up? I know the virtual ones you have to sign up

Which recruiter did you talk to? I reached out to one and she responded saying we would meet today at 1 but then never answered my email this morning confirming our meeting

Same mine for oncology at nsuh went to under consideration a few days after applying and still haven't heard anything

What did you search up on LinkedIn to find them?

Where do you find a recruiter? there was a lady who came in to my school who's part of the fellowship process. She gave out her contact info but, I can't seem to find it so I tried to message her through LinkedIn no luck though

Me too I heard Northwell takes a while to get back but I don't think for fellowships since there's a deadline

I did my capstone at Syosset hospital! They did tell me to apply there and work in the ICU but I know as new grads you would have to go through a fellowship to get into ICU right away that's my goal but they're making it hard ? how was the interview process? I heard LIJ and North shore are kind of rough for interviews Same goes for you too! Hope we'll get a call back soon fingers crossed

Same here! I feel like with Northwell you really need a connection to get a job there
