I did my interview on June 24th. And it was my second choice unit

Just got a call from Torrance offering me a position for the Float Pool. I honestly lost hope LOL

Did anyone else hear back from Torrance?

Did anyone else get an offer from Torrance?

Oof! At this point I feel like I'm not gonna get an offer from any of these places☹️

WOW nice! I hope Tarzana will reach out soon LOL I feel it! I'm mostly anxious for Torrance. I read from the previous cohort forum that they invited a lot of people to the meet and greet and apparently only hire like 12 or so. so I'm no optimistic at all ?

I think so yea, because I saw they were writing on the score sheets when I was interviewing for Tarzana as well. They said that it's optional, but if you want them to pass along like questions or something to the group leader you can send the person who sent the meet and greet email your questions and stuff.

I guess it's where you can make a better impression on the leaders of the units that you want. The attachment on the email said that we will be picked on how high we scored on the interview so I felt like they already have the score, they're just waiting to see if the group leaders want anyone in specific for their unit.

I also just said infection LOL, should've piece together low BP means sepsis??‍♀️ and maybe possible AKI due to low urine output but I'm pretty sure that was wrong.

The lady at Tarzana told us before the interview that they will send out emails with informal offers this weekend. How did you think you do for the interview? I feel like I tripped up on some of the questions so that made me a little nervous.

I also got the email for the meet & greet! I wonder how they're going to narrow down the list, I'm so nervous LOL. My answer for the sepsis one was so vague??‍♀️, all I said was to monitor temperature, put them on oxygen and keep an eye on the A&O.

I was asked: why did you become a nurse? the culturally competent one how do I deal with a stressful situation a time when a pt was not doing so good and how I handled it how I handle like communication between team members

I hope it went well LOL. There were 6 behavioral questions, 1 priority and 1 case study. There were a couple questions where I had to use my past job as an example instead of a clinical experience because I didn't run into those problems during clinical so I hope that's OK.

I think Mother Baby is postpartum? IDK if they're 2 different units like other hospitals. But if it's the same unit then that's really annoying because they literally posted like 4 openings for it?

I didn't even get a call LOL. My applications still said in process. But I applied to NICU, ER, mother baby and their general thing
