Hello all, I recently took a break from nursing due to my mental health being in a really bad place. I went back home to California to visit some family. While I was there I was talked into smoking THC a few times because I was convinved by my nurse friends there that because it is legal in the state that I was in I wouldn't get in trouble in my home state of Florida. A few weeks later when I returned from my trip I scheduled an interview that had me do a pre-employment drug test. I pee'd in the cup but had a bad feeling that I had failed so I did not sign the chain-of-custody papers to send it to the lab. If I did indeed fail, can they still use that sample to report me to the BON? If yes, of course I will cooperate and take accountability. I know now that I shouldn't have smoked weed. It was a really stupid decision and I am freaking out.
