It was something like you have a 70kg patient and you need to give 0.6mg/kg of a medication, how many milligrams are you going to give? You have to do the math off the top of your head, no calculator

I interviewed in July and I thought I did horrible. I fumbled with a very simple math question and I still got accepted! You got this! Stay positive!

I interviewed 8/16. I haven't heard anything yet! The wait is killing me.

It was a mix of clinical and emotional intelligence. They asked me to tell them about the most critical patient I've taken care of and then just rapid fired questions about nursing interventions, pharmacology, and patho. They also asked me a very simple dosage calc question. Everyone on the panel was very nice. I was just so nervous.

I applied 5/31, I received an email saying Barry received my NursingCAS application 7/12, and then they called me for interview 7/23. I have 4.5 years PICU experience at a level 1 trauma center. I also cross trained in adult ICU and I'm part of a pediatric critical care transport team Nursing school GPA 3.9 Science GPA 3.75
