Graduated 2021 - 3 years passed and Failed NCLEX on anniversary day - Can I take it in another state?
Someone out there has to have been on the same boat as me. Many people have been able to come back after 3 years one way or another, refresher course or some type of alternative. Why would the state of Georgia want to make me start all over again. It took me 7 years to accomplish an associate in science. Imagine starting all over again. I didn't take the test as soon as I graduated because I opened up a business and it took alot of my time to care for the business. I never once thought that my eligibility to test would expire.

I opened up a business and focused on it for the last 3 years. My nurse instructors would tell me that they waited many years before going back, all they had to do was take refresher course but apparently GA doesnt do that anymore. I think it might have changed recently. You would think they let me take at least once more

If anybody knows what I can do to get my RN license, please let me know. I'm desperately trying to find a way to retake the NCLEX but Georgia is trying to make me go back to nursing school. I literally only took it one time since I graduated. I was told many times that a refresher course could save me, just to find out that that's not the case

If it's a compact license, I should be able to practice in any one of the compact state what changes is the law requirements, I think that's what you're asking

Graduated 2021 - 3 years passed and Failed NCLEX on anniversary day - Can I take it in another state?
So I live in Georgia, I graduated May 7 of 2021. I was not aware that Georgia had a 3 year window were it was mandatory to pass NCLEX for licensing. Well I figured that out too late and took it on my 3 year anniversary day and failed. Now I am met with dead ends and am told I have to go through another RN program. Any help or advice, can I take it in another state? Please some one help.
