  1. Obtaining NP and DEA license after IPN

    Hello everyone. I was hoping to get a little bit of information if anybody out there could help. I am a nurse in Florida, and in September 2022, I completed a contract with IPN for diversion. I am not proud of this in any way shape or form, however, I completed the program without any issues, I have a clear and active state nursing license without any complaints or actions taken against it. I also am about to finish my nurse practitioner degree this coming October. I am just curious if any anybody out there has had any experience with this, as I have to divulge that I was in a monitoring program when I apply for my NP state license. I'm just trying to see if the state will possibly give me a hard time when applying for my license, or even trying to obtain a DEA number so that I am able to write prescription. Any information would help at this point, whether it is good or bad thank you very much.
