  1. Hello, so... I have been debating on if I should stay at my community college and do a 2-year AS program or if it's better to transfer to a 2-year BS program at a CSU? I have almost all my pre-requisites (A&P 1&2, Microbiology, chem, psychology, nutrition, childhood development) and all my GE's + extra college credits (comm, stats, ethnic studies, a language course, etc), I am only missing medical terminology but I will be taking that class during the fall 2025-26 semester. I have not taken my TEAS test yet. I am not exactly financially well off and I want to try and start working in the medical field asap. I guess I am just having a hard time because I don't want to waste too much time and money and then being stuck at where I am. I have a bit of time before I do make a decision since I'm thinking of applying and/or transferring for the Spring 2026. I'm just a bit indecisive because I'm unsure if I'm taking the right path for my career.
  2. As you've seen in the title, I'm debating if I should retake or stick it out with the class. I am currently in my second year at my college and this would be my first fail and retake of a class. I have already taken A&P 1 and 2 as well as chemistry and majority of my GE's. I am currently at a C in Micro but I am fearful that I'll have to retake the class. I recently spoke w/a counselor and she had told me to just fail the class and retake again in the fall semester but I am a bit skeptical. would it be better for me to just fail it and retake it or should I just pass with a C?
