I think you have a good shot! If I were you, I would make sure to write a really solid 'My Plan' essay for your application. Even though they say it doesn't affect anything, I feel like that made a big difference for me.

My understanding is that FAFSA will not cover prereqs at all for any major- you must be in the program and declared. Currently FAFSA will cover my tution as I am in the program and declared a Nursing major, but they did not cover my prereqs are I was still a Liberal Arts major. Hope that makes sense!

Hi all! I applied to the ADN program for Fall 2024 for the KCC ADN Program. I got waitlisted as an alternate and I am wondering how the process goes. How long before you hear back? Should I move on to other programs? About how many alternates do they normally take? If anyone has experience as an alternate in the past or is also an alternate for this coming semester, your input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I got my letter and was put in the alternate list. I had an 80 on TEAS and all A's and one B in prerequisites. I also have no prior experience. How did you end up doing? I imagine really well! :)
