Congratulations! I'm considering applying to PLU since I didn't get into TCC (9 points), did you apply to the tradition or accelerated program if you don't mind me asking ?

I feel like it's taking them longer to get through applicants than last cycle, the email prior to the 1-2 weeks said mid to late October & it's November 4th now ? anyways, if any of us end up getting accepted would you mind sharing the amount of points you qualified for tyty

Hi, I also applied for Winter 2025 (& fall 2024). It seems that 9 was the cutoff for accepted applicants because someone in the Fall 2024 forum with 9 points did get in, while another (with 9 points) did not. During an info session, I asked how they determine how to break ties, and they replied that it was unfortunately privileged information. I'm also feeling discouraged, so much so that I am highly debating if I should take 15 random credits at TCC this quarter so that I'll have an extra point if I have to reapply for the Spring 2025 cohort. Good luck to both of us. Hopefully, there will be fewer applicants this cycle, and the cutoff point will be lower than last cycle. Please keep us updated, I will do the same.

Yea I didn't get in either, I asked about the points cause even with the 2 extra points next cycle I'll only have 8. (I am not in the military, didn't do my prereqs at TCC, and don't have healthcare work experience) so I'm wondering if I should even apply next cycle, if some of you with 9-10 points also didn't get selected ?? I was iffy about the past lottery selection, but maybe that might have been better ?

If anyone gets in, would you mind sharing how many points you qualified for. I just want to know for next cycle if I don't make it in this cycle ? (I think I'll be able to do 2 more points next cycle but IDK if that still would be enough)

Oh really ? I did apply already because the apps were open surprisingly ( but I did find it weird because they have been saying apps only open biyearly) if that's the case ... I wrote that essay for no reason lololol. Is there someone you talked to ?
