I am having some confusion over the CPR requirement on Castlebranch. It gives me the the option of doing either American Heart Association or AMerican Red Cross. I am not sure if there is a specific title I need to register for within the ARC class search. Is In-person classes required instead of online courses? Castlebranch doesn't specify but I want to ask if any of you guys have done this or have some advice. Thanks

I know some of you mentioned different dates of the campus you're all going to, and I was wondering if Gateway is the earliest to have their orientation? Wanted to send a reminder that orientation at Gateway is next week Monday! The packet mentioned bringing an envelope with signed forms so I suppose thats the main thing to do.

I was checking class registration just now, and I am now able to register for Nur100. A few days ago checking, it gave me an error saying I needed Microbiology which I already did but it looks like they verified my transcript recently but without any notification. This is with Gateway so not sure how the other campuses are letting folks register now.

It is interesting that registering is available, not sure if the option shows up when a student is accepted? Anyone have an idea how lectures will be? At Gateway, I see a list of instructors with one listed as a primary. Will these other instructors give us presentations or be the ones also assigning us work? I assume clinical is different. I am still in this weird state of getting accepted, it is nerve-wrecking, yet exciting!

I wil share my stats as well, hoping to let any future students to look at this thread and get some insight! At least with Gateway I had: GPA: 3.67 (Although it may have been different from how I have calculated but likely around that number.) AP 1: B+ (A Summer course and not sure if they weighed it the same or not so a mystery for sure!) TEAS: 76.7% TEAS score was the one having me worried but it seemed that it was just OK!

I am in shock right now, I was accepted at Gateway! I honestly just expected to consider an ABSN thinking my score was not good enough. Happy to hear all you others have seen your emails. Now I can sleep in peace tonight haha!

Such a bummer, but I did see that my application is now marked as completed today! High school completion is now checked off so I am assuming they are getting all applications ready? Likely a sign we'll hear back by next Friday!
