  1. Hi JuliannaB! First, Congratulations!! In a few weeks you'll going to get a Canvas invite to the orientation and boot camp "class" from the instructor. (They need to fill all of the seats first.) Everything you need is in there. I'll warn you, it's A LOT of information, but take it one step at a time and breathe. Start saving money now, unless you have financial aid, scholarships, grants, etc. (If you don't, start applying for those) Between books, uniforms, background check items, etc., it adds up quickly. All of that information will be in that Canvas class, what to do, what to buy, and where to buy. You can go into class registration and click browse and you will find the schedule. As of now it is Tues, Weds, and Thurs, but it could change next semester. In addition to class, you'll have 5 days of clinicals. We start ours this week. It's a lot of information and critical thinking; you need to start thinking like a nurse and what you would do if confronted with "xyz" situation. It isn't anything like the classes you've taken before, but it's definitely doable. Be prepared to spend (all of) your time studying once in the program, so enjoy the next few months of "free time" ? I'd also suggest starting a thread like this one to find others that will be in your cohort, then a Facebook group or something. You're going to be BFFs with them for the next 18 months starting in January. ClayFox
  2. Yes, but it was the unofficial transcript. I think that's only accepted if you're strictly enrolled at SJR.
  3. No. ? I was about to ask the same thing! ?? It could literally be any minute now.
  4. Not yet, but it could literally be any time now that the emails go out!
  5. Same! ? It's 5 semesters long, so we would be finished in April 2026. I didn't apply to FSCJ, but don't they have a rolling admission process?
  6. They don't only select from Clay, Putnam, and St. Johns but those who live in those counties are given preference. I can't say how they compare GPA vs. HESI. Only one more day until they close applications, then the real stress begins. Good luck!
  7. Hi everyone! I'm so glad this thread has helped us all connect, answer questions and support eachother! To answer a question earlier this month, I don't want to share the exact number, but I have a somewhat high GPA. I've heard that depending on the number of applications, GPA may not matter, so even having a 4.0 doesn't guarantee a seat. It's almost the end of the month so the stress is really starting to kick in now! I applied to OPC since Palatka is pretty far for me. Good luck to you all! ?
  8. Hi Alicia! Yes, I applied on May 1. I didn't take the HESI either. Initially I didn't know it was an option. I was told I could take it to skip waiting to finish my last pre-reqs, but the test was scheduled for the week after and I didn't feel ready. I'm sure you'll be fine! The wait now is the worst, I'm so stressed! I heard that we will find out the first or second week in June. I don't know if it's by email, letter, or phone call. Which campus did you apply to? I applied to OPC. Good luck! ?
  9. Hi everyone! I haven't found a topic for Fall 2024 for St. John's River ASN admissions. I know that the application doesn't open until May 1, but I wanted to get this topic started for anyone who was going to apply! Good luck!
