  1. Also for anyone curious, it'll be about 4 years before the felony can be expunged.
  2. Hello everyone, I wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions on a plausible path to getting a nursing job with a felony conviction on my record. the felony conviction was unrelated to nursing field and the nursing board in my state has re-activated my license with no restrictions. Unfortunately there are laws against facilities hiring felons that work in what are called covered facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, etc. In addition, no employer wants to even consider someone with a felony working in healthcare. I took care of my patients with great compassion since early adulthood prior to this unfortunate turn in my life. Any advice would be appreciated and I'm willing to consider drastic measures such as moving in order to get a job. thank you all
