  1. You're welcome! Did you get accepted for this fall? Maybe you can call and ask if you can take two of the nursing classes at the same time but it was my understanding that we cannot. Some schools might offer nursing classes during the Summer but most schools will take around two years to get ADN from the start of the nursing program.
  2. For NCC one year is divided into two semesters (nursing classes cannot be taken in the Summer). So if you've done all of the pre reqs it should take you about 4 semesters (2 years) to get your ADN. This is mostly because you cannot "double up" the nursing classes. They have to be taken in sequence and cannot be taken concurrently.
  3. Here is a screenshot from the info session with the classes required for ADN!
  4. Congratulations! That is so exciting! I haven't gotten anything yet but hopefully sometime today I'll know too!
  5. Is it going to be a letter in the mail or an email?? Or both?
  6. Nothing yet! I think last year the letters began arriving on the 19th and the 25th or something like that so I'm assuming it will be a couple more weeks. I am checking like everyday though so I'll let everyone know when I get mine!
  7. @RNlife24 Haha same! I check every single morning. I am in the same boat. Like I feel somewhat okay about my points but I know it could be better.
  8. @RNlife24 I have 8 pre reqs- all As except one C+ (bane of my existence LOL). The C+ was in A&P 2 which I am retaking now just in case I don't get in this semester so at least I'll have a better chance next semester. I am taking med ethics concurrently with that so it is going to be a busy semester. I would have taken pathophysiology this semester too which is the only other class I need but my current school doesn't offer it (I am applying as a transfer). Question- do you know if we apply to the nursing program but don't get in, do we still get admitted to the school in general? I wanted to take pathophysiology in person at NCC this fall even if I don't get into the program this time around.
  9. @RNlife24 Hi!! I attended the virtual information session and I thought they said that you do get an extra 5 points for that BUT I saw someone else post in a different thread here that its not that you get 5 points for never having been in a program but that you don't lose 5 points- so now I feel unsure. It doesn't say anywhere in the info packet either way and I ran out of time to clarify during the session because so many people were asking other questions. I really hope that we do get the 5 points though because that is how I have 155. Otherwise I have 150. I really hope I get in either way and the same to you! Have you done all your prerequisites?
  10. Hello! I noticed there wasn't a thread for students applying to Fall 2024 nursing program at NCC so I decided to make one! I am applying to the day program and have 155 points towards my application. Fingers crossed I make it in this semester.
