I wouldn't over think it. They said at the end of the interview that they tend to forget to respond to emails, but they see them.

I did, got a response on Sunday. I sent the mail out on Friday night.

Not sure, but I remember a few years back they would only interview ~80 people for 28 spots. Did a rough estimate of ~90 people this year between the times, dates available, and if there's 3 people per time

I'm just curious of everyone stats? I feel like I met the bare minimum. It was to the point that I honestly was shocked when they offered me an interview out of 700 applicants. I did end up declining my invite, so hoping someone gets it!!

My flight was 480 round trip. Between hotel, flight, and car rental. I'm spending about $850 for the weekend. I chose late April because I knew flight tickets were going to be expensive since they would've been "last minute" tickets with earlier dates.

When did you apply?

Just got this update from them: " Thank you for your interest in the FIU DNP Anesthesiology Nursing Program. We are pleased to inform you that your application status is marked as "Verified" and has successfully routed to the Admissions Committee for review. You can expect to receive an email notification with your application results by early March. We will continue to provide updates as needed throughout the review process.“

What do you mean? I was originally on the waitlist for interview, a month later it changed to "Awaiting decision", and by the end of the day it went back to waitlist for interview

How long were you on the waitlist for?

I applied in December and I was placed on a waitlist. I had a friend who was in a similar situation as you, she received her rejection letter after they were done reviewing for that year.

I just got waitlisted for an interview, hopefully we get news soon. Does anyone know how their waitlist works? Like do they just go in order of who got offered? Or do they do a 2nd round of reviews of the waitlisted applications?

They had me create an account with them to traffic my status. Still waiting to hear back about a decision
