  1. @disheartenednps Thank you for the information. I have been sitting here stressing over this stupid test and now I'm at the point where I want to just be done. I don't blame you for not studying. It is crazy to me that the school is making this so difficult. I mean you basically passed with 69% and they still wanted you to take it again. I can't bring myself to study anymore and your right! I should just focus on studying for the boards! Thank you again for the information and your advice. Good luck on the boards! Post when you pass! It will give me Hope!
  2. Has anyone who recently gone to WCU failed the APEA exam both times on the retake? I failed the 3 rd time. 67%. At least I'm getting closer but I wanted to k own what will happen if I fail a 4th time? Anyone know
  3. I assume graduation is on hold until you pass! I have not received instruction but other people on here have given valuable advice!
  4. I really appreciate all of the responses on here. It has been very helpful to me! I am still waiting to hear more information. I also found the two day review to be just senseless torture. I have been reading that people who did the in person APEA review received a booklet? Apparently the booklet was a great help to them for taking the test. I can't believe how ridiculous this test is! The worse part is that I have been reading that a lot of people feel the APEA is not a good predictor for how you do on the boards!
  5. Great information! Thank you. I'm sure all of us struggling appreciate the help!
  6. Thank you! That is good yo know.
  7. I have read about similar situations regarding the boards. A lot of people say they did OK on APEA and then failed boards. I have not received much instruction other than what I shared. It seems you basically pay for the course again and pay for a review class as well. So it seems like a very expensive problem to me.
  8. I've been told that I need to repeat the class but not clinical since I completed all of my hours.
  9. Disheartenednps So when you had to rso the course, what was involved. Obviously no hours to complete. Did you have to do more SOAP notes or just videos and exams? Also, did you pay more? Can you email me the details? No one is responding. [email protected]
  10. I am currently struggling! My school requires me to get 70% on APEA to graduate and I just did the retake and scored 65%. Has anyone else done their FNP through WCU and had the same experience? I'm just wondering if I will have to retake the semester or if they will allow me to take a review course and redo the exam again. I am super frustrated and I feel totally defeated!
