  1. Stay positive and patient. I remember being this anxious too, I checked Allnurses just about everyday. They send out decisions probably until like June or so, so theres time. I was accepted late may/early June 2024 and there were people who were accepted after me also.
  2. Our cohort is approx 110 students. But we're bigger than the last cohort so its hard to say. I don't know how they go through applicants but I recommend being patient because they will get to you. The Director is also one of our professors so she's pretty busy and I'm sure must make time for interviews. What I can say is, when I applied last January I was still enrolled in 3 Pre reqs (2 sciences and algebra) my application was on hold until may. But once I uploaded my official grades, my application moved pretty quickly. I was contacted for an interview like the next week and got my acceptance the next day. The Director looks at your application holistically . My Science TEAS score was like a 69 but she took into consideration I got A's and A-s in almost all my sciences, my undergrad GPA was a 3.5, I took the TEAS before taking A&P2 and my score increased since my first time taking the TEAS (2weeks prior) so I think it showed dedication. You can call or email admissions, they respond pretty quickly but there may not be much info they can give you.
  3. Of course. And about 8 hours. it can be 7-3 or 8-4 depending on your clinical faculty.
  4. Hey! In the First semester there are classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays! And one day of Clinical. I think it was Tuesdays 9-5 and Thursdays 3-8. Role Development is a 5 or 6 week course so it ends in October. So once that class is over, your Tuesday schedule becomes like 9-3. After the first semester theres one day of lecture (Tuesdays) and 2 clinical days.
  5. I have 2-3 classes in progress and got rejected. I also applied by the priority deadline. Would you mind telling me your stats and do you have experience working in the medical field ?
  6. I just got one. 40 min ago. I think its because I have 3 classes in progress. But Good luck to you
  7. My FAFSA has just been updated as being received. I'm wondering if it's actually just been received or has NYU just finally pulled it and they're reviewing my application? I'm looking for any signs at this point LOL.
  8. Same, I'm getting anxiety now. But before on my albert my financial aid link didn't work, now it works but when I click it, it says "You are not *active* in a program at NYU in 2024-2025. Because of that, you may not access this page. Please contact your advisor for further assistance." not sure if this is a good or bad sign.
  9. For portage you actually have a year to complete once you start the course. I started a genetics class last August and haven't finished yet but im still enrolled.
  10. Hey guys so update, I spoke with NYU on the phone today regarding transcripts. Disregard the website saying that they need official transcripts by April 1st. I was told today that they can review your application using unofficial transcripts and usually won't request your official transcripts until after acceptance. You can send the officials if you want to but, it is not necessary until requested.
  11. Im pretty sure you only need chem I. Call & confirm but yes I don't believe you need chem II
  12. I just check online, you have to send your official transcripts by April 1!
  13. Anyone know if we're supposed to mail our official transcripts? or do we wait to be notified by the school? (I've already uploaded my unofficial transcripts).
  14. No update as of yet. My application status still says hold for information & my final grades for these 3 classes are due 5/24. I don't think I'll hear back until May once I submit the grades.
  15. I submitted my application January 30th. But my application status says hold for information. I'm currently enrolled in 3 pre reqs. It lists the due date for my final 3 grades in May but what if by that time they don't have anymore seats? On the TEAS I got a 92 in Reading, a 93 in Math but a little under 70 in Science but I think that was due to me not yet completing Microbiology and anatomy II (currently enrolled this semester). Do you think they'll take that into consideration? Im just really anxious and not sure if I still have a chance. All of my completed prereqs are A's and B's only one C+ in chemistry lecture but a B in the lab. Any advice? Do you guys think I'll still have a shot once the semesters over?
