Yes. I think everyone who filled out the FAFSA will receive a financial aid email. I got one, but have not heard back from the nursing department regarding getting off the waitlist. Has anyone heard back?

does anyone know of someone who got accepted to the program under the women's health concentration that will be declining the offer?

Thank you so much for inquiring. I fear that this year this program is even more competitive since UCSF did away with their master's entry program. I only applied to this program given that my husband's work is here in the Bay and so I can't move. I also didn't want to incur the debt of attending a private school. UC Davis has an accelerated master's that is 18 months long. If I don't get into this program I may consider applying to that one. Anyways, good luck everyone. Un abrazo to all!

I chose the women's health concentration. Which one did you choose? I can just imagine myself trying to describe to whoever is attending the phones in the SF State nursing dept our forum conversation and how we think their might have been an error with the number assignments ?

ay... the waiting is very painful... @girlypop is it the waitlist for the ELMSN? I just called their office and they said that they will be emailing out acceptance offers to folks on the waitlist as they receive denials from folks admitted. I didn't dare ask if my waitlist number was correct ? Good luck everyone! Sarah wrote a comment on this earlier in the thread. I believe it's two days of classes and two days of clinicals.

My number on the waitlist is #1. Haven't gotten anymore news since last night's email.

Sarah, Can you share what job prospects look like for folks after they graduate from the program? Have you heard positive or not so positive stories? And, also, my understanding is that after year 2, one can take the NCLEX and start work as an RN. Have you met other students that have been successful at getting jobs as RNs without their BSN? Thank you always! I appreciate you for starting this forum!
