Hello all! I just finished first semester in the spring. You don't have to actually go to the classes that say TBA. It really is just a built in practice time if you want to practice certain skills you need to work on. That was confusing for me too! I did not go during those assigned times though. Also if I remember correctly my books were around $1000 but they were all new. I think first semester is the biggest cost for books (thankfully!) If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask! Good luck everyone!

Where is everyone getting your CPR cert? I want to get mine done ASAP! I know in the paperwork that we got with our acceptance letters there were a couple of listings. I don't really want to drive all the way to Southaven but I do like the idea of getting my card that day though.

I called yesterday afternoon and they said they were still working on it. As far as MyMemphis....login on the MyMemphis webpage and click the Students tab. Go to the Registration Tools box in the middle of the page. Click on Registration Status. Then click Submit for the Spring 2011 sememster. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to where it has Current Program. Mine still says Pre-Nursing. That's the best I can figure out. Hopefully that will change soon!

Anyone heard anything as of today? Anxious!!!

I am also looking into the Univ of Memphis program too...except I will need 1 more pre-req if I am accepted there. I only have 1 semester of US History and I really don't want to take another! But I am definitely applying to both programs. I was just curious on how the UT program was doing since it is brand new.

Thanks for the info! I may have to give them a call and see if they can put me in touch with someone. I'm really excited about moving back and going back to school! We've been out here in Denver for almost 3 years now and we're moving back home mid-June next year. I'm finishing up my pre-reqs here next month. How is the MSN program? Which one are you in? I thought I might eventually like to do one of the NP programs but one step at a time, right? :) Thanks again for your reply! Katina

I was wondering if there were any UT Memphis students out there that are currently in the new BSN program that just began this year. I am going to apply for July 06 and was wondering how the program is going? I hope to get some replies! Thanks! Katina
