  1. I was pending AP2 and Micro. I took History, Human Development, and AP1 in Fall, got A's, and applied for Fall in December after grades were in and I had taken my TEAS (they mostly look at reading and math, of which I got 89 and 100 respectively). I got a 90 overall on the TEAS. I then took AP2 and Micro in Spring semester and I was accepted into the nursing program in April right before finals for AP2 and Micro (which I also ended up with A's in, and finding out I got into the program certainly boosted morale during finals!). My GPA was bare minimum before all of these classes so I worked really hard to make sure I had A's. As long as you will be done with all prerequisites before the semester you will start the nursing program, and assuming all other minimums are met like GPA and TEAS, you should be good to go.
  2. I have not been able to register for it yet but I emailed my advisor and he asked for a screenshot of my acceptance letter so there may be something about my major or something that he needs to override. That was around 4:30 yesterday though so hopefully I'll hear back today
  3. My understanding is that there will be lecture one day a week (I believe it's Wednesdays) from 9-3, eventually clinicals once a week, and a skills lab that I'm not sure how often it meets. Maybe @Galb4894 can provide her experience ?
  4. My error must be something else then because I still can't register for it ?
  5. It's NURS1921 but my major hasn't been changed yet so they said I won't be able to register for it yet.
  6. Thank you so much for your insight. I'm sorry you had a tough first semester. Hopefully we can all help each other out! Our orientation is not until August so we are very uninformed right now, haha I'm very nervous about the testing myself because I heard it's a lot of tricky ones and "select all that apply" which are so hard for me. I hope you get a spot for fall and we can all learn together!
  7. @Roxy1 what do you mean by that? Did you not get in? You had a high TEAS. And congrats everyone! Guess we'll meet in August ?
  8. Oh! Yeah that's when they're due but I honestly expect to have them back before then. But I guess you're right, they won't be the "official" grades. and I agree we need more peeps in here! It's so weird how some posts get so many people responding to it and others don't
  9. I think they are waiting until final grades for the semester are in or something
  10. I haven't yet. I'm assuming we won't hear until basically the 30th at this point ?
  11. I was looking yesterday and some years they didn't send decisions out until like the 28th ?
  12. I'm assuming no one has heard anything... waiting is killing me! LOL
  13. I know, I am anxiously awaiting. I know it probably won't come until mid-April at the earliest, but I check my email every day just in case ? I don't really see why it takes so long since they have had all applications since January 31...
  14. Hey! I don't think it will be included. I think it's whatever was already completed at the time of application.
  15. Great stats! Im sure that's an easy acceptance for them haha. I'm taking Micro and AP2 this semester.
  16. It took a week or two but I submitted right before Christmas... I hope you get your email soon (if you haven't already!)
  17. Yep! I am very impatient and anxious. ? I got a 90 TEAS and have a 4.0 science GPA but overall GPA is only 2.7 from being a bad student in my early college days ? All of my old classes are 7+ years old though, and I don't think they take classes older than 6 years into account. At least not for science. Which if they did that for all of my classes, I'd have a 4.0 overall GPA ?
  18. Good luck! I hope we both make it in! I do think whatever score you applied with is the one they will look at, so I don't think retaking it would affect anything, but you could ask. Reading the previous threads also makes me nervous, but I am still hopeful. There are 80 spots for Fall I believe, and 60 for Spring, and only a few applicants of each of those cohorts were in those threads, which is a pretty small sample size to be comparing to... but I couldn't help but look anyway! LOL
  19. Hello! I didn't see a post for the Fall 2024 ASN cohort yet so wanted to make one to find some fellow applicants and potential future classmates! I am an older applicant (33, not "old," but you know... non-traditional student just finishing up pre-req's of AP2 and Micro this semester). I took my TEAS in December and applied the next day, LOL. I recently got the email that I meet the minimum requirements. April 30 feels so far away (but I've seen that some people get their acceptances in March or early April) so let's all wait impatiently together!
