  1. I am a ICU/CVICU nurse who made the decision to leave the hospital and try something different. Tired of the politics in the hospital. I am working at a Nursing home/ Rehab in Florida. I need advice since I have never had any experience working in long term care. One example, patient coded the other day, I ran to get code cart for nurse who started compressions, I had no idea we did not have emergency drugs or a defibrillator! Ratio of nurse to patient is 30/1. What things should I do to protect my license? I have so many more questions, but would love to hear from nurses with experience working in LTC. Thank you.
