  1. Hello Golden, I greatly appreciate your responding to my posting. They would allow me to work with a preceptor from another state, but only if that preceptor had a host site willing to work with me. I would never have to come to the host site for preceptorship, but having a host site is one of the school's requirements. Thanks, LaTeisha Akinboni
  2. No, no luck at all.
  3. Hello, my name is LaTeisha and I am completing my final two classes at WGU in their MSN-nurse informatics program. My classes have been on hold for two terms now due to my not having a preceptor. I am an RN in New York and the preceptor should be a master-prepared registered nurse who is registered in the state of New York. All of the preceptorship duties are done remotely, there are no required number of practicum hours and the student does not need to present to the assigned site unless the student and preceptor agree upon their meeting. The preceptorship is guided as a resource for the student to fall back upon if there are questions about the project the student needs to complete. Said project does not have to be implemented, it is a mock project Preceptors do not have to be informatics nurses, they need to have worked in the EMR for the past 2 years and be MSNs. Please help me. Thank you so much.
  4. Hi, I apologize that I am just seeing this but was wondering if you have retaken the exam and passed it? I hope that you have, if not please reach out and I can possibly help.
