  1. Just got my rejection email... At least I can move on now! And big congrats to those who got in! ☺️
  2. Hi! Yes they prefer you add contact info on your resume! ?
  3. What are their rules if you don't mind me asking ?
  4. Thank you for letting me know! Keeping my hopes high then! And congratulations on your offer!!
  5. How awesome, that's a robust application you got then, thank you for sharing and congrats again! I'm going to assume that they have already filled up every spot and will be soon receiving a rejection letter...
  6. Woow congratulations, so happy for you! ! If you don't mind, could you share some of your stats and whether you did your preceptorship there ? ?
  7. I had my RN preceptorship (non-bedside) at JMH ED as well but did not get any invite. I wonder if they only consider those who had their RN (bedside) preceptoship there. Still staying hopeful though!!
  8. My graduation date was April 2023 so this October will mark 18 months! I think you are still eligible to apply if the cohort start date is less than 18 months since graduation. As of right now I have 6 month of RN experience non-acute care. I am waiting to hear back from John Muir but this year it's been competitive there too so we'll see. I'll try to apply to UCSF and hope for the best. I I am sure there is something better for us somewhere outthere. Let's be patient ?!
  9. I got a rejection email last night at 12:33am. This was my second time applying. I won't be eligible to apply anymore because of my graduation date ?
  10. Looks like no one did! ?
  11. I think the original nursing residency website is about last year's cohort! They updated it for this year with a link to the announcement !
  12. That could be possible! I haven't gotten anything either! My guess is they probably did not send any invite yet! Maybe they got more applications than anticipated? ?‍♀️
  13. Oh interesting!! I wish you the best! Hopefully that's a positive thing! ?
  14. Oh no!! ?.. Did they specify what the call was about?
  15. I think so! On the announcement it says they anticipate interviews to start on the week of June 10th so it would make sense to send invites a week prior. Hope we all get one!!
  16. One of my friends said JMH received about 700 applications last year. But that was when the application opened up for a whole month + webinar. This yea I feel like it's a bit different as the application opened just for a week and was announced later than expected. Also I don't think there was a webinar this year. Based on that I am guessing there might be fewer applicants this year, but I can be wrong though. As far as the number of people hired last year, I am not too sure.
  17. Hi, thank you for starting this thread!
  18. I also have an MSN and I kinda feel it is the case. But I know two MSN students who got in a nurse residency program (they were previous employees of the site they got accepted into). Anyone with a MSN received an invite?
  19. Thank you for sharing ?! Definitely thinking they take a holistic approach! I wish you the best on your interview! ?
  20. Wow that's a lot of internship experience! Sighhh... I don't know what makes a robust application anymore... this program is definitely getting more and more competitive !
  21. Was it a nursing intership? I personally never heard of nursing interships before ?
  22. Congratulations to those of you who received an interview invite! I definitely think volunteer experience and internships bring lots of points! from past cohorts, it seems like people who have had some type of nursing internship received an invite. This is my second time applying. I have about 400 hours of volunteer experience and no internships. I poured my heart into the application questions, focusing on cultural competency since someone from the previous cohort mentioned the importance of cultural background and knowing another language. I have a weak employment history but I explained the reason for it. Still no interview invite! I graduated a year ago, so this is the last time I can apply before I exceed the graduation date cut-off! Staying hopeful though ! ?
